With a sales team of 8 in the UK, they support a nationwide portfolio of channel re-seller customers, who in turn sell into the retail and contract sectors. The business is one of only three in the UK market that actively control this space and prides itself in the value-added support that its sales teams provide to their customers, working closely with them to grow their own businesses.
Market knowledge is less important than your enthusiasm, energy, natural people skills and your experience of managing a portfolio of B2B accounts. Those with re-seller management experience will have an advantage, but if you can demonstrate a strategic approach to sales account management, we’re keen to talk to you.
This is a self-managed role where you’ll drive sales performance through managing a long-standing customer base throughout Scotland. You’ll have full control over your own diary, splitting your time between working from home and being in the field (with the use of a local office space if required). The emphasis is on quality, not quantity and so, you’ll be left to prioritise and manage your time with customers as you see fit.
The overall approach is very consultative, with a view that by supporting and working closely with key customers, sales growth will happen organically.
