With a strong track record of producing high-quality products, we are now ready to expand our presence in the market by introducing a dedicated Business Development Manager to lead the charge.

The Candidate

Proven track record in industrial textiles or similar materials to OEM customers
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe.
Previous experience in building a sales function is a plus.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling our industrial textiles to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers across various sectors. This role is the first of its kind within our organization, offering you the unique opportunity to build a sales function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and target potential OEM customers across a variety of sectors.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met.
Provide product expertise and technical support to clients.
Prepare and present compelling sales proposals.
Travel throughout the UK and Europe as required to meet with clients.
