The Candidate

Proven experience in sales within the construction or building products industry.
Strong understanding of the needs and requirements of housebuilders, social housing developers and landlords, and student accommodation companies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Self-motivated and results-oriented.

The Role

This newly created role is a direct response to their continued growth in the housing and student accommodation sectors. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities within these markets. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the continued expansion of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at house builders, social housing developers and landlords, and student accommodation companies.
Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts to drive sales growth.
Provide expert product knowledge and technical support to customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies.

The Rewards

Starting salary: £45,000 rising to £50,000 in year 2.
Uncapped OTE: £20,000 – £25,000 per year.
