Recruitment Consultants going through scripted, hour long telephone conversations, asking about your "career aspirations", your "life ambitions" and any other number of industry standard "buzz-phrases". The whole time, the consultant is doing more talking than listening and you're looking at your watch more and more frequently. Then there's the ones that want you to send them a copy of your passport in triplicate before they'll tell you about the job that they've called you up about.
